Scientists in Australia may have invented a pill that stops you getting fat.

The new drug causes fat to be burned up by muscles instead of building up in the body.

It's only been tested out on mice so far but experts hope it can work on humans too.

Associate Professor Anthony Don of the University of Sydney, one of the study’s authors, told Mike Hosking that it would be limited how much it would be burned up.

“I’d imagine that some people would just naturally be more pre-disposed to burn the that.”
