Despite Auckland Airport trying to say their runway is now safe, the pilots aren't convinced.
After the runway was closed for 90 minutes two weeks ago and a review was done, the company say it is now up to standard and measures are in place if more needs to be done.
The problem is, they have needed 14 patch up jobs since September 2018 - described as quick fixes.
NZ Airline Pilots Association President Andrew Ridling joined Mike Hosking to discuss the issue.
