Fourteen days in a leaky boat might not be as tempting as people think.  

For those who travel here by sea, their time doing so counts as part of their mandatory isolation.  

Andrew Bates sailed here from Australia and has had hundreds of people approach him for help. 

But he told Mike Hosking he'd much rather be in a hotel any day over a stormy sea. 

“It’s dangerous out there on a stormy sea. Some people die.” 

Bates says all sorts of people at the end of their tether.
