Accommodation reviews are something everyone looks at, but the question remains whether or not they can be trustworthy.

This comes after a number of negative reviews were left against the Gore Motor Camp.

The manager claims they're fake, left by disgruntled customer kicked out for not following camp rules, and that the reviews have damaged his business.

Nigel Humphries, Chairman of the Accommodation Advisory Council, told Chris Lynch some accommodation operators live and die by reviews.

"If a bad review comes along, unfortunately, it's really hard to deal with these companies and prove that it's fake, so at the end of the day you just have to be honest and professional."
