Melbourne radio hosts on life under lockdown

Victorians will have to stay disciplined for at least six weeks after a state of disaster was declared yesterday.

An overnight curfew has come into effect and there's also a ban on travelling further than five kilometres from home.

The latest stats show 671 new cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours.

Former New Zealand radio hosts Jase and PJ, who used to host ZM's Drive show, now host the KIIS FM breakfast show in Melbourne and have been caught up in the lockdown.

PJ told Kerre McIvor that they are still waiting to find out if they are going to be able to go into work or not, as Premier Daniel Andrews will announce today what will happen.

She says there are many unanswered questions about what stores and restaurants will be open.

The confusion has seen residents try to fill in the gaps.

"Everyone got at least three different messages from people saying 'this is the information that leaked out of the government'."
