It's looking like a Labour-Green government after Election Day.

The latest One News Colmar Brunton Poll has Labour down one per cent to 46 and National down one to 31 per cent.

The Green Party is up two per cent to 8 - it's highest polling level since 2017, and sitting in line with ACT.

New Zealand First is up to 3 per cent.

Newstalk ZB political editor Barry Soper says these numbers wouldn't give Labour enough seats to govern alone.

But he says a coalition with the Greens would be a big parliament majority.

On the referendums - euthanasia is polling at 60 per cent support, and 33 per cent opposed.

The Cannabis Legalisation and Control Bill was 41 per cent support and 51 per cent opposed.

The numbers translate to 59 seats for Labour, 11 for the Greens, 40 for National and 10 for Act. NZ First would not return to Parliament without winning an electorate seat as they remain under the 5 per cent threshold.

The poll showed 14 per cent were still either undecided or wouldn't say how they would vote.

In the preferred Prime Minister stakes, Labour leader Jacinda Ardern is on 55 per cent (up 5), National's Judith Collins on 20 per cent (down 3), and Act's David Seymour on 3 per cent (up 1).
