Winston Peters is rubbishing claims New Zealand First is straining the Coalition partnership.

By yesterday afternoon, the party had blocked or killed multiple bills - including Covid-19 related rent relief, overhauling how rape trials are run, and hate speech.

Green Party co-leader James Shaw claims a clause in New Zealand First's agreement with Labour says it'll act in good faith to help deliver governmental agreements.

Peters told Andrew Dickens when the Party shakes hands with another, it keeps its word.

"We keep our word. Most speculation about New Zealand First is unfair."
