That's the sort of headline we're seeing now, when journalists delve into the latest companies doing multi level marketing - or, MLM, as it's also known.
It is when friends and acquaintances use Facebook or Instagram to hawk makeup, essential oils or nutritional supplements... posting heartfelt testimonials, and telling anyone who'll listen to "DM me for more info".
They try to sell you a dream - so should you buy into it?
Val Hooper, Head of Marketing and International Business at Victoria University, told Heather du Plessis-Allan that these schemes are different to pyramid schemes, but they are similarly high risk.
