Meghan Markle has won her court battle against the Mail on Sunday.

The Court of Appeal upheld the decision that Markle had a “reasonable expectation of privacy” over a letter written to her father that was published by the tabloid.

LA Correspondent Sean Mandell told Heather du Plessis-Allan she had anticipated the letter would be leaked and had taken care with her writing to pull on heartstrings.

“She was very purposeful in how she had gone about this, which one might say is very understandable given she was in this position of prominence and incredible public scrutiny.”
