But Auckland Plumbers Group say it's an important part of their advertising.
Director Andrew Durrens told Heather du Plessis-Allan it's an important marketing strategy.
He says he uses Google advertising - but never puts too many eggs in one basket.
"We all have different marketing strands, we use digital advertising but are absolutely on board with the Yellow Pages directory as well."
