a2 Milk has had a bit of a resurgence recently.

Milford Asset Management's Sam Trethewey told Andrew Dickens similar companies are reporting a return to growth in the Chinese infant formula market, including Australia's Bubs and France's Danone.

He said that Danone is starting to see a revival of a Chinese buying method called daigou, where people outside China buy goods for people living in China.

"It was a very, very big part of a2 Milk's business about four or five years ago. It's now left though and the hope is that they can return that."
