The Police Minister is urging patience after at least nine shootings in Auckland over the past two days.
Poto Williams says police are working hard on the case and have made some arrests, but she hasn't given any detail.
Several houses were damaged in what's believed to be tit-for-tat attacks between the Killer Beez and Tribesmen gangs yesterday and the day before.
She told Heather du Plessis Allan they can't be hasty with arrests.
“We have to give the police the opportunity to do their job, they have to investigate and they have to make sure that the prosecutions stick.”
