A suggestion vaccine certificates and booster jabs should be linked.

Former National MP Parmjeet Parmar, who has a PhD in Biological Sciences, says if you've had your second Covid-19 jab and it's been longer than six months then you should have your booster before you get your vaccine certificate.

Parmar told Heather du Plessis-Allan if the passport is issued, there should be some terms around its validity.

“So people, if they get the vaccine passport, it is within six months, then after six months, whatever the document is, digital or physical, that should become invalid.”

The Government says booster doses are not currently required for the public to get a vaccine certificate.
