Is New South Wales' Covid outbreak looking less frightening?
The state had 1127 cases and 2 deaths today.
Australian correspondent Murray Olds says some are saying the numbers are getting better, and while still high, it's a drop from the 1500's of last week.
Olds says there's been talk in the media about the curve flattening.
New South Wales health official Dr Jeremy McAnulty says while a lower number's pleasing - it's too early to tell.
Covid-19 vaccine passports could also be in Western Australia by the end of the year.
Premier Mark McGowan says they'll come in when everyone's had the chance to get a jab.
Olds says the UK has dumped the idea, but West Australia is pushing on.
He says having proof of being double jabbed would be required for football and cricket matches and to enter pubs and clubs.
