Small business owners are "hanging in there" as Auckland's plunged into another lockdown.
Ponsonby bar owner Luke Dallow told Heather du Plessis-Allan they don't get compensation for things like lost fresh produce.
"We were ready for a big Sunday and it all just went straight in the bin, we couldn't give it away either because you have to watch out for uncooked food."
Dallow says every time they go into lockdown and have to throw out food, they receive no compensation.
"We are not compensated for supplies, which includes beer, wine and food."
