The US State Department has confirmed New Zealanders will be able to apply for a multiple-entry business visa from next week.
It'll mean business people can enter the US without having to apply for a new visa each time.
New Zealand United States Council Chair Leon Grice says it's now a lot easier to invest or establish a business presence in the United States.
"It's a lot quicker if you meet the criteria, it's more likely you are going to be granted the visa, and it's going to be a lot less costly to enter the US market for a New Zealand business person."
Grice says that New Zealand businesses sometimes had to wait six months to nine months, and some faced $50,000 in legal fees in order to get the visa.
