Kaiapoi doctor Jonie Girouard has been making the news for all the wrong reasons.

A Newshub investigation last night revealed Girouard has been handing out fake medical exemptions for the Pfizer vaccine.

NZ Herald reporter Kurt Bayer tried approaching Dr Girouard and her husband for comment earlier today.

Bayer told Heather du Plessis-Allan he went to their home in north Canterbury after finding no life in their clinic.

“Just as I got out of the car to go knock on the door, her husband Michael Girouard came out quite aggressively to tell me that he was going to phone the police, that I was trespassing, and that I needed to leave immediately. She also popped her head out while we were at the property but had no comment to make and after being told to leave, we did.”
