Australians are looking to New Zealand for answers amid the coronavirus pandemic.
There are more than 4,500 current cases of coronavirus across Australia.
As a result, Australia prime minister Scott Morrison has announced the previous gathering limit of ten people has been cut to two.
But Today Show host Karl Stefanovic admitted to Heather du Plessis-Allan Australians think more drastic measures are needed.
"A lot of Australians have been looking at what New Zealand is doing and what your Prime Minister has been doing and scratching their heads saying why don't we having the same restrictions."Â
He says many people's beliefs are far from the truth.
"I think anyone going around saying we're getting on top of this now is probably away from where reality is. There's no room for complacency here."
He says that he would rather be living in New Zealand at the moment, as his wife is a month away from giving birth.Â
