Far north Māori have held a hīkoi today to protest changes to land use rules.
The Far North district council have announced plans to classify some iwi land as a significant natural area, but put those plans on pause in response to the hīkoi.

Ngātiwai Trust Board chief executive Hūhana Lyndon took part in the hīkoi and spoke with Heather du-Plessis-Allan.
