If you're one of the 20,000 people spending your new years in Gisborne for rhythm and vines, you've got even more to look forward to
Broods, Dave Dobbyn, Shihad, The Beths and a number of other acts have been added to the long-running music festival's 2020 line-up.
107 artists have been booked to perform across the festivals three days, the vast majority of them Kiwis due to the closed border.
Hamish Pinkham, the director and co-founder of Rhythm and Vines, told Heather du Plessis-Allan says that the concert has sold out already, and the lack of international talent has not put off anyone's interests.
"People are willing and pretty keen to get together for New Years."
He says that they worked out early that international talent wouldn't be coming, and they shifted during the year.Â
