Cook Islands Private Sector Taskforce chairperson Fletcher Melvin says the Cooks are ready and waiting.
But he told Heather du Plessis-Allan nothing looks likely to happen until at least after the election.

Deputy Prime Minister Mark Brown has previously told Newstalk ZB that the country would need a travel bubble by September - otherwise the island nation risks running out of money.Â
