Auckland's lockdown will lift at 6am on Sunday.
The city will move to alert Level Two, with the rest of the country simultaneously shifting to Level One.
Cabinet will review the decision at the end of next week - with a view to Auckland joining the rest of the country at Level One at the start of the weekend.
Ardern says that Level Two restriction will carry us to roughly 14 days since the infectious period of our latest community cases.
And the Prime Minister says there's a chance we will see more cases.
Auckland University's Dr Colin Tukuitonga told Heather du Plessis-Allan he's not surprised Auckland will move to Alert Level Two - rather than dropping down further.
