Presumptive Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden is set to choose his running mate next week, for this year's election.
Biden has promised to choose someone who is female to encourage diversity.
US corespondent Dan Mitchinson told Heather du Plessis-Allan there is a general idea who it will be.
"I think it's going to be Senator Kamala Harris who ran against Biden, and has been the most likely candidate he'd choose.
"While he was at an event today in Delaware he was photographed holding a pad with talking point about Harris, and the first line under Harris' name read that he does not hold grudges.
"And he also called her talented.
"Here's the boxes she's ticking - she's a female, which Biden said he would choose as a running mate. She's a person of colour which appeals to most Democratic voters, and she is young.
Mr Mitchinson says Biden is likely grooming Ms Harris to be a placeholder, should his age became a factor as President.
