The NPC Rugby Championship Final can be played in Hamilton this Saturday, thanks to the region's move to level two.
The Waikato squad have had to spend six weeks away from home so it'll be a special homecoming for them against Tasman Mako.
Waikato Rugby Union CEO Carl Moon told Heather du Plessis-Allan they’re pretty chuffed.
He says there are still restrictions on how many people can actually attend.
“We’ve been hanging off every announcement for the last six weeks. We’ve been on a bit of a roller-coaster ride.”
