A group of business members and Queen Street tenants are ready to launch legal action against Auckland council.

The council has decided it wants to reduce the number of lanes on Queen Street to one in each direction, to the horror of those doing business there.

Andrew Krukziener is a property developer and member of the Save Queen Street group and he joined Heather du Plessis-Allan earlier.

“The whole concept of consultation is where you go talk to the people, the stakeholders in the street and the people that use the street you get their views and then you incorporate those views into the design and that just hasn’t happened.”
