Britain's major parties are promising to bring an end to austerity.
UK correspondent Vincent McAviney says Labour and the Conservatives are avoiding talk of Brexit, ahead of next month's election.
He told Tim Dower they're both shifting the focus to spending on schools, hospitals and police.
"Both Labour and the Conservatives are basically tearing up the financial rules which have been in place for a decade about not getting a deficit above 2 per cent of GDP."
