Spring Sheep Milk, a global producer of sheep milk, has just signed three more New Zealand farms to respond to the growing demand for local sheep milk.
The new suppliers are using spring sheep's 'bovine to ovine' conversion model, converting their cow infrastructure and repurposing it for sheep.
Thomas MacDonald, Spring Sheep general manager of milk supply, told Kate Hawkesby that there are under 15 of these farms, but the demand is growing and they are adding more farms each year.Â

He says that there are more consumers across the Tasman and Asia pushing for more digestible milk.
