Simon Bridges has come under fire for standing by them, when they controversially took up spots in MIQ hotels at a time of unprecedented demand.
He told Kate Hawkesby entertainers should be able to come here, without objection from the public.
Bridges says if the Government improved the MIQ process, more New Zealanders would be able to come home safely.
