Dentists are calling out Coca Cola for irresponsible advertising.
They're concerned about an 18 pack sold in supermarkets which reads ‘Share a Coke’ -- along with the word ‘Bub’ and ‘Mum’ on the cans.
The New Zealand Dental Association Sugary Drinks Spokesperson Robert Beaglehole says it's never okay to give your baby coke.
"Over 8000 children last year had one or more teeth extracted, under general anaesthetic, at a huge cost of the taxpayers."
He says they were rotten due to sugary drinks.
Beaglehole says that sugary drinks are the main cause of tooth decay, and they want more regulation.
