Artificial intelligence is now creeping into the customer service sector.

A new digital assistant named Jamie has been launched by the ANZ bank on their website .

Liz Maguire, ANZ head of digital and transformation says ANZ staff have no reason to be worried about losing their jobs to AI.

"We have no intention  to replace staff with this technology, it just gives us a better and easier way to interact with our customers."
