The raids saw armed police and dog squads burst into the homes of pacific people in the wee hours of the morning.
Dawn Raid petition organiser Josiah Tualamali'i told Kate Hawkesby it's important their voices are heard.
“That’s probably the bit that was really special to hear the Prime Minster speak about yesterday, that actually, people did lose something and this has affected us.”
