England's moving out of lockdown next week, but it won't be Christmas as normal across the UK.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced England will shift to a tiered regional system from next Wednesday, allowing shops and gyms to reopen.
However, restrictions on gatherings and travel could remain in place over the festive period.
Jon Craig from Sky News UK told Kate Hawkesby Johnson is still keen to ease restrictions for a few days, but his advisers aren't.
"Scientists are extremely hostile to relaxing the rules, as it could risk lives and set back efforts to contain the virus."
Other European countries are also looking to ease restrictions next week, ahead of Christmas.
