New research shows the majority of Kiwis are comfortable working with robots, as long as they aren't stealing their jobs.

The Trade Me survey found two-thirds of people have no issue working alongside robots.

Head of Trade Me Jobs Jeremy Wade told Kate Hawkesby they were very surprised by the result.

"I guess we have seen a lot come through in movies and things like that, where artificial intelligence and technologies are coming through and maybe it's just the permutation from our day to day lives to work lives is becoming more acceptable."
