If you're an employee, what does your company offer in terms of work perks?
A new survey is pointing to more leave as being the key to attracting and retaining staff.
That includes unlimited sick leave, days off for a birthday, and even something called a 'you day'.
Jane Kennelly, managing director of Frog Recruitment, told Kate Hawkesby that employees are craving more leave to better recognise that they are living busier working lives.Â
"People are looking for some flexible."Â
She says unlimited leave remains rare in New Zealand, but it comes down to trust between employee and employer.Â
Kennelly says that 'you days' are becoming very mainstream.
"It's popular with loads of organisations, and it's not a difficult thing to do."
