There is hope global trade tensions will cool at the G20 Summit.

World leaders are set to gather in Buenos Aires later this week, where the standoff between the US and China will likely dominate the headlines.

Greg Smith, from Fat Prophets told Kate Hawkesby investors are keen for a ceasefire after a tough week.

"Trade tensions between the US and China are likely to take centre stage when world leaders gather in Buenos Aires, but there are positive signs a trade deal will be struck between the two superpowers, as they try to prevent a market slowdown."
