Two former British Prime Ministers are urging MPs to reject attempted changes to the Brexit treaty, describing the actions by current PM Boris Johnson as shameful.

Tony Blair and Sir John Major have accused the Government of embarrassing the UK, who are attempting to change details in the agreed deal with the European Union.

Boris Johnson says the agreement might be used by the EU to split the UK, and split Northern Ireland apart from mainland Ireland.

MPs will discuss the bill tomorrow.

UK correspondent Gavin Grey told Kate Hawkesby two "Tony Blair and Sir John major are writing an open letter saying it was a shameful thing that Boris Johnson was doing... it was embarrassing he was doing it".

"These practices were irresponsible, wrong in principle and dangerous in practice."
