Turkish voters have given President Erdoğan a mandate to cement his iron-fist rule.
He's achieved an outright victory against his nearest rival, Muharrem İnce.
Under Erdoğan's authoritarian rule, more than 160,000 opponents have been put behind bars.
But Turkey correspondent Caitlin McGee told Kate Hawkesby his supporters love him.
"He is a polarising figure and his policies are criticised domestically and especially internationally but none of that resonates on a national level with voters."
Erdoğan is using the victory to justify extensive new powers.
