Labour's announced changes for migrant workers are being described as a soft cushion at the bottom of a cliff. Â
The package includes basic financial support to help with accommodation and essential living costs.Â
The Government also plans to remove 90-day trial periods for employers utilising the Accredited Employer Work Visa.Â

He says the 90-day trial period isn't the problem, the problem is the Government's visa system.Â
