The Broadcasting Minister is on personal leave after facing a grilling in Parliament over her use of gmail to send work-related emails.

The Prime Minister told Chris Lynch she's taken leave because she's under a huge amount of pressure.

Jacinda Ardern says she's not considering firing Curran because she's paid her price.

She says she has huge expectations of her ministers, and those in the ministry, but also accepts from time-to-time they'll have bad days.
