Christchurch's Mayor believes the disclosure of her election donations is above board.
Fellow candidate John Minto has called out Lianne Dalziel for disclosing $40000 worth of donations as coming from her husband.
He says they were from an auction organised by her husband and each winner of the items should be listed.
Minto says Dalziel needs to release the individual names of successful bidders' names who paid more than 15-hundred dollars for auction items.
"We're being asked to trust something that looks very dodgy, and I think if there is no wrongdoing here, then I think there should be no problem with producing the bank statement from the account that was used to receive those donations."
Lianne Dalziel told Chris Lynch she's been advised that it is all legitimately disclosed as it is, but she'll release the information anyway.
"I've asked the campaign team to gather together the list of substantial purchases, recognising that my husband was the one who donated all of the goods."
She says that there is nothing to hide.
