Christchurch's Council could go paperless to save ratepayers money.
Mayor Lianne Dalziel was challenged by Newstalk ZB's Canterbury Mornings host Chris Lynch to come up with five different ways to save ratepayers money.
Returning for their first chat since, one of the suggestions was to end the council's reliance on paper.
She says better technology within the council has already helped.
Delziel says the reduction in the operational expenditure such as the printing costs, has far outweighed the investment in the technology.
