Southland joins in on 'Roaring Chorus' to mark Armistice Day

New Zealanders are responding on land and at sea to WW100's call to create a Roaring Chorus to mark the centenary of the armistice that ended the war in 1918.

There are multiple community commemorations nationwide incorporating a Roaring Chorus in various way, and the Southland region is no different.

Southland's Town Crier Lynley McKerrow joined the Andrew Dickens Afternoon Show to explain what Armistice Day means to her, and what plans she has to recognise the historic day.
