Dozens have been killed and wounded in one of the worst attacks in Iran in years.
Gunfire erupted during a military parade in the southwestern city of Ahvaz, leaving at least 29 people dead and 70 injured.
The dead reportedly to include military force personnel, civilians, and a journalist.
A spokesman for the Iranian armed forces says the shots came from terrorists, who opened fire from long distance.
CNN's Ben Wedeman says several groups have claimed responsibility, including ISIS and more local groups.
He says it's a part of Iran with a significant Arab minority that has been pushing for independence for years.
