The kākāpō population has reached its highest point in 70 years.
Stella, the youngest of the bumper 2018/19 breeding season, is 150 days old - which makes her a juvenile or young adult.

DOC kākāpō recovery advisor Andrew Digby says it's a major milestone in a long journey.
He says decades of work have gone into reaching this point.
