The Government's seeking public input, as it launches its Trade For All agenda.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says trade is integral to our economy - but it needs to be sustainable, modern, and inclusive.

She says many have lost confidence in our trade agenda as shown by protest against deals like the CPTPP.

"What we want to do is step back from having that conversation piece by piece by individual trade agreements, and develop up our principles and values that we as a Government is pursuing through our trade agreements that has buy in for all of New Zealand."

Ardern says an advisory board will also be set up to make recommendations on how to achieve this.
