UPDATED 1.29pm: It's hard to estimate that crowd that's turned out at Victoria Park but it runs into the tens of thousands.

Coach Steve Hansen was humbled by the turn-out.

"It's an honour and a privilege just to be part of the All Blacks but to be able to put a smile on so many faces is an even greater honour.

"So for all of us we'd like to thank you for the support you've given us and we hope we've made you proud."

Richie McCaw said seeing everyone there made it all worthwhile.

"It's just great the boys could do the job and put a smile on our faces."

"We can smile for the next four years and say we're World Champions and that's pretty cool."

Radio Sport sports editor, Rikki Swannell, said it's an amazing sight.

"There's people up trees up the other end trying to get the tiniest glimpse, some are desperately hoping for photos or autographs, I don't know if they'll see the All Blacks."

Isabel and Oliver have just moved back to New Zealand with their parents Hadley and Kerry.

They're right at the start of the line at Victoria Park and should get a prime view of the All Blacks as they pass.

"The kids have watched every game, they sleep in their All Blacks clothes, and they love it. This is about being Kiwis for these guys."

Sole Mio is providing some of today's entertainment.

Pene Pati says the group were excited when they got the call up just after the final -

"We were about to fly out to Melbourne and we had to push our flight back, you can't miss this. Today's the day you feel like an All Black and you're part of that team, so we were definitely here for this."

Whenuapai dad Mark has taken his son and daughter, Luke and Grace, out of school for today.

All three are kitted out in All Blacks jerseys .

Luke also has a silver fern shaved into his hair.

"We took in a picture of Sonny Bill and said we want a haircut like that."
