More than a hundred thousand dollars has been raised thus far for Auckland circus company, The Dust Palace.

A crowdfunding campaign was launched on PledgeMe with hopes to raise 140 thousand dollars so it can move to bigger premises in Penrose.

With 17 days to go, they're around 30-thousand-dollars away from their goal.

Director, Mike Edward says it's humbling to know how many people have gotten behind the venture.

"The fact that it has grown into the size that it's grown, and we tangibily have 44 people in the world that really believe in us to the point that they want to give us money, there has been more than a few times we have cried."

"It's been incredible to have people behind us, to feel like we are sailing on a ship, with a big crew."
