If you're not happy with your Christmas gifts this year, spare a thought for the Kiwi who was given a dish rack.
The disgruntled gift recipient's listing is one of around 700 unwanted presents up for grabs on Trade Me.
Communications spokesman Logan Mudge said the site has become more and more popular as a place to 'rehome' presents that don't take their fancy.
"Yeah it's become a bit of a Christmas tradition for us here, the ham's only just been put on and presents start to emerge that haven't quite hit the mark."
But he said putting the unwanted items for sale online can lead to a better outcome for all.
"We think it's a good way to for people to maybe get some cash and put it toward something they like instead and perhaps find a more receptive and happy home for that gift."
As for the givers of the gifts, Mudge suggests a little bit of sensitivity, saying people flogging dud gifts may want to cover their tracks online.
"You've got to be a little bit careful you don't identify yourself too heavily when you're doing it, it can be a little hurtful to some people."
Other unwanted presents include toothpaste, a blackhead removal kit and a beetroot.
