A coroner has found strong and concerning links between the suicides of four teenage girls in the Hawke's Bay suburb of Flaxmere.

Fifteen year olds Lesha Ngatuere, Jahnaya Staples, Ebony Karangaroa-McKenzie and Deichan Whaanga all died within 13 months of each other.

Coroner Carla na Nagara's report states each girl was living with multiple risk factors.

The report says all the girls had been exposed to domestic violence, with three of them experiencing ongoing high levels of violence.

She says all the girls were bullied at school, and the victims of harsh and nasty bullying on Facebook.

There were also issues of a lack of parental control and drug and alcohol abuse.
