UPDATED 7.14am Albany Highway has now reopened following an armed police operation.
Auckland Transport said the road was now clear to travel on but people using affected North Shore roads could still expect delays. Â Â
The highway was closed to traffic between Sunset Rd and Upper Harbour Highway.
Police closed roads as they  executed a search warrant at an address on Albany Highway in relation to a potential clan lab.
Auckland Transport advised road users to avoid the area and use another route.

The New Zealand Transport Agency said Unsworth Drive was also closed due to the police operation.
Motorists could expect delays.
Meanwhile, traffic is backing up on Auckland’s Southern Motorway after a crash.
The New Zealand Transport Agency said the crash was blocking the left lane southbound after the Takanini on-ramp. Motorists should expect delays from Hill Rd.
